Before the Train4Timor website and fundraising pages wrap up I wanted to take the opportunity to make a few thank you's.
I would like to sincerely thank those of you who have donated directly to my fundraising page, the businesses and individuals who sponsored the Train4Timor trivia night and all who attended the trivia night and Ladies Nights. Thanks to your generosity we have raised nearly $5000 for CARE Australia.
While I may not have had an official 'support team' I certainly had wonderful support from my friends and family, and without them I could not have achieved the goal I set myself.
So here goes! A big thanks to:
Thank you again for your support it truly is appreciated.

While I may not have had an official 'support team' I certainly had wonderful support from my friends and family, and without them I could not have achieved the goal I set myself.
So here goes! A big thanks to:
- Byron - for being a wonderfully supportive husband, putting up with my training, encouraging me when I was finding it all too hard, driving me to some of the events and even participating in his first fun run (and placing second!)
- Tanisha - for helping out with the trivia night and keeping me company by watching crappy TV shows while I was on the wind trainer.
- Marianna - for her invaluable trivia night advice, purchasing the most items at the silent auction, attending both Ladies Nights, and participating at two events and raising money through an office 'whinge jar'.
- Pete - for joining me for his first half marathon, the C2S and an 83km bike ride (and a weekend in Whittlesea that was a wash out - spending an hour or so on the treadmill instead)
- Elizabeth - for flying all the way from Sydney to attend a Ladies Night, the Trivia Night and to run my last event (Half Marathon) in Melbourne with me.
- Christina - for arranging and hosting both Ladies Nights and for bringing the most people to the Trivia Night.
- Nicky - for riding my first 100km 'Around the Bay' with me - against her better judgement :-)
- Tim - for letting me tag along on a 100km ride and hanging back with me even when the sag wagon was ready to pick me up!
- Justine - for letting me swear at her and ignoring my whingeing while kicking my butt, and patiently waiting for me to finish running Fed Hill the week after the C2S.
Thank you again for your support it truly is appreciated.
